Colours of Nature - The Blues The leaves of the large cacti are grey-green to blue-grey, waving like gigantic hands. Their knobbly protuberances are pointed, with brownish thorns at the end of a thunder-blue body. Light shimmers blue as it catches tiny pools of water collected in the cups of the leaves. Blue symbolises inspiration, devotion, peace and tranquillity. A room painted in light blue gives a feeling of space and makes a small room look larger.
