Bristol Pearl Criss Cross Brush Technique Bristol Pearl produces a soft metallic shimmer when applied over an acrylic top coat. Step 1 Apply a base coat to the entire surface using Bristol Easy Living Low Sheen, Satin or Bristol Opulence in a colour of your choice by brush or roller and allow to 4 hours to dry. Best results are achieved when using a dark coloured base coat. Step 2 Shake the Bristol Pearl bottle gently and pour into a roller tray. Apply a thin top coat of Bristol Pearl with a brush or roller, work in a area of ½ square metre. Step 3 Using a 75mm – 100mm brush, brush over the wet top coat in a criss cross brush motion. Best results are achieved when working with two people as a team. Tools you will need 75mm – 100mm Brush, Roller Tray, Roller, Bristol Pearl, Bristol Easy Living Low Sheen, Satin or Bristol Opulence.
