Bristol Pearl Roller Technique Bristol Pearl produces a soft metallic shimmer when applied over an acrylic base coat. Step 1 Apply a base coat to the entire surface using Bristol Easy Living Low Sheen, Satin or Bristol Opulence in a colour of your choice by brush or roller. Allow to dry for 4 hours. Best results are achieved using a dark coloured base coat. Step 2 Shake the Bristol Pearl bottle gently and pour into a roller tray. Step 3 Apply one coat over the base using a regular nap roller. Roll the top coat evenly in an upward and downward motion, ensuring you keep a wet edge. Tools you will need Regular Nap Roller, Roller Tray, Bristol Pearl, Bristol Easy Living Low Sheen, Satin or Bristol Opulence.
